Company History
Carlisle heating and Air-conditioning opened for business in 1978 when Ralph Carlisle and John Grange incorporated their business. They began with only three employees and a small building. The business grew nicely over the years and in 1991, Ralph Carlisle retired from active management and Carlisle's moved to their current location. Today Carlisle's employs 12 people and occupies an 8,500 sq. ft. building. The building contains an office area, service shop, complete sheet metal shop, warehouse area and some garage space. Along with Service and Installation of Heat and Cooling Systems, we carry Masters licenses in plumbing and electrical making us "Butler County's One Stop Pro Shop".

The ability to service all mechanical systems within a home or business is strongly complemented by our proven commitment to customer service. This approach to business has enabled the company to grow and increase total sales to $1.2 million in 2000. Continued training through York, CFM Distributors, supply houses, Butler County Community College and other sources keep the employees well-educated and up to date on current technology. The company has standard operating procedures, employee job descriptions and a company handbook, but still encourages individual initiative.

Time has proven our commitment to go above and beyond customer service and satisfaction. It is not uncommon for our techs to change light bulbs for some of our elderly customers.
